Spring Break Part 1

We had a great Spring break! I am going to break the blogs up into 3 parts but be prepared for lots of pictures because well this is my journal in a way!
I love Pintrest and have been looking forward to doing some projects for a while now. Saturday morning Savannah and I set out to Hobby Lobby to get some fun supplies for our craft time! The first one was finger painting

I got a canvas and taped her nickname "Savy" to it. Then I let her go to town!

She loved it and when it dried we took off the tape and look what we had!

That night after Bruce went down for bed we tried Shrinky Dinks!

Basically you have these small pieces and your draw on them...when you are done coloring you put them in the oven

We traced the pictures to see how much they shrunk

Then we watched them shrink!

Fun times!

Although he wasn't in on the crafts he had a great time just being cute!

He figured out a fun new hiding place

His cute new hat that he didn't really want to keep on!

Monday we headed to Waco to visit the Zoo. Savannah was so excited!

We would look at an animal and then she would tell us when she was ready to go see the next one:)

Bruce loved the fishies!

The big cats!

Savannah loves Giraffes and was so excited to see them! But they were doing the nasty so we didnt stay to watch long :)

This guy was so funny...this is a gorilla up against the glass...he had found the one piece of shade in his area and was just sitting there watching all of us.

Urashima Taro

Last night we had the opportunity to go to Pflugerville Middle School and watch Aunt Amy (Andy's sister) and her theatre class perform their play! Amy actually acted in the play as well as helped direct it. Her kids did a great job and it was so exciting to watch her and the students perform after all the hard work!
We are so lucky to live in the same city as Amy and Rob and don't take it for granted that we get to be a part of her job! She is doing an amazing job with those kids and we are so proud of her!

Savannah with "her" Aunt Amy. During the show whenever Amy wasn't on she wanted to know where she went :)

Crazy Uncle Rob and Aunt Amy...Love you guys!

Bruce was a little fussy so Andy walked around with him. As you can see he wasn't so sure about Amy.

Momma Harvey made the trip up to see the show and today the kids are getting a special treat and staying home with Ma!

Way to go Amy...We are so proud of you and love you!
