Vacation Day 4

Today we spent the day in Vail!  It is so beautiful and I am so glad that my mom scheduled us to spend one day/night here.
Last night Nana and Papa watched the kids while we went out to eat for our Anniversary. While we went out the kids went swimming!
This morning we got up and ate breakfast at a place called the Little Diner.  We saw the sign yesterday and loved it because it said they open at 7ish in the morning :)  I didn't get a picture but lets just say that Diners, Drive-Ins, and Drives should go visit!  After breakfast we headed up the mountain for some fun!  The scenery is absolutely stunning!
Yes, a Red Bull appeared in some pictures.  I wonder who had our camera!
Before discovering all the things to do at the top of the mountain we took some family pictures! I can't wait to get these in frames at our new home.  I am so blessed to enjoy my family as much as I love them!
The top of the mountain had a lot of things to offer...the kids enjoyed trampoline jumping (Addisyn loved doing flips!), pony rides, digging for dino bones, and rock climbing!
If you look closely at the picture of Bruce on the horse-Savannah and Addisyn are in the background jumping :)
The last thing we did was a jeep tour!  Ryan, Samantha, Andy, and I enjoyed a jeep ride up to the Vail summit.  There was one more member of the Kinnan family that came up to the top of the mountain...that would be Baby Kinnan!  Excited to say that I will be an Aunt again in December!

We loved Vail and all agreed that we would love to see it with snow :)  After lunch on top of the mountain we loaded up and head to Parker, CO.  My Aunt Lory, Uncle Phil, and cousin Hunter live here! We just got back from a great dinner and as I speak Andy is on a motorcycle ride with Uncle Phil!  Once again another beautiful day in Colorado...we are having a great vacation!

Vacation Day 3

We woke up and headed up in the mountains on Day 3!  It is also Andy and I's anniversary
This is the few for our balcony!
My parents are watching the kids tonight so we can celebrate our anniversary.  But before we did we enjoyed the beautiful town.

Vacation Day 2!

Our second day of Vacation was spent all around Colorado Springs.  We had a great day but man were we tired after the day!

We started our day at the Cliff Dwelling of Manito Springs.  The kids loved climbing thru all the dwellings and learning about where the Indians lived!
After the Cliff Dwellings we headed to the Garden of the Gods.  What a beautiful place!  As you can tell in the pictures it was really windy but we still managed to get some good pictures!
We had lunch in Mantito Springs and enjoyed walking around.  After a little while we headed to the Cog Railroad to see Pike's Peak.  Bruce slept like a log on the way up the mountain :) It was really foggy so we couldn't see much and it was so cold that we didn't stay outside very long but we did manage to get a couple pictures!
And of course we had to get some hot chocolate and the famous donuts that are only made at the top!
Stay tuned for Day 3!

Happy 7th Anniversary!

Today marks 7 years for Andy and I! I never imagined our life would be so full of laughter and happiness! To celebrate we are in Vail, Colorado in a beautiful hotel and tonight my parents are watching the kids!
Our view from our balcony!
Just got out of car!
Beautiful Vail!

I love you Andy! Here's to 7x7x7 more years!

Day 2 - Air Force Academy and the North Pole

When Andy was little he always wanted to go to the Air Force Academy.  When he was in middle school they found out he was color blind and that ended his dream of being a pilot in the Air Force.  The Academy is a beautiful campus and while we waited for Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn to land from Fort Worth we decided to go see the campus.!
While we were in looking at the Academy there was a wedding and a formation going on.

After the Air Force Academy we picked up Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn had lunch and then headed to the North Pole!  Who knew that Santa was working in July!  We had an awesome time riding rides, enjoying the weather, and seeing Santa.  The adults also had a great time watching the kids faces as they rode the rides...lots of laughs were had!
