Weekend guests

Friday morning we woke up and headed to San Antonio for Lake Travis Football. Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn came in Thursday night and together with them, my mom, Aunt Paula and Uncle Rick, The Dinkins, and Aunt Jenny and Uncle Stan we met in Gruene to eat lunch before the game!

As I have mentioned before I love Gruene! And the Gristmill is so good!

Look who is sitting up in his stroller by himself!

We took some time to take a couple pictures! Look at how cute my brother and his family are!

Addisyn loves Samantha and so do we! I love how they are laughing at each other in this picture...their own world. So thankful for Samantha and her love for Ryan and Addisyn as well as our entire family!

Bruce with Uncle Stan!

William and Amy met us at the game and spent the weekend with us! Andy is doing their wedding and Addisyn and Savannah are flower girls! We can't wait...and loved spending time with them.

The Kinnan grandkids! Addisyn loved holding Bruce and making him laugh!

Nana and Papa with the kids...this was right before they took the kids to Gatti Town so we could have adult time with Ryan, Samantha, William, and Amy!

Before church on Sunday!

We had a great time with everyone and cant wait to see them again over Christmas break!

Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving Day was spent at our house! We loved being here and enjoyed hosting a small group! My parents, Aunt Paula and Uncle Rick, Jason and Jill, and Brad and Melissa came to spend the day!

Our little turkeys!

I love these smiles!

Savannah and Bruce with Papa and Nana!

Bruce wanted to join in on the cooking as well

Jason smoked the turkey and it was amazing!

After dinner we watched the game and planned out where to go shopping:)

Jill, Melissa, and I started shopping at 9 pm and I got home at 3 am :)

Irving!

We left Odessa on Tuesday morning and headed to Irving to visit with the Kinnan family for Thanksgiving! I actually didn't take a lot of pictures because we were talking and laughing that I forgot :) But here are a few!

Bruce loved Mama's shoes!

Uncle Ryan and Addisyn have a dog named Freckles-as you can see my children loved her!

I love all of my cousins very much! We truly have a special bond that not many people would understand :) My cousin Kaitlyn had her son almost 2 months after Bruce.

Wednesday morning Kaitlyn had to work and Mama was babysitting Skylar-I needed to take a shower so Andy took over helping Mama.

Aren't they cute?

Wednesday night everyone headed over to Mama's for dinner. The kids were wearing their "I'm thankful shirts"

Don't mind Savannah's dirty face:)
Here shirt said I'm Thankful for:
1. Jesus
2. My Easel
3. My dress-up clothes

Bruce's shirt said : I'm thankful for
1. Jesus
2. My sissy
3. My Giraffe

Guess who helped Mommy with Bruce's shirt

Savannah loves my cousin Hannah!

Can't wait to be back in Irving for Christmas! I promise to get more pictures then!

Odessa!

Andy and I have been trying to get to Odessa since Bruce was born. Andy was born in Odessa and his Memaw and Papaw still live there...in fact they live in the same house that his Mom was raised in :)

Although it was a quick trip Savannah and Bruce had a great time!

Memaw was diagnosed with cancer this spring and is going through chemo right now. She is rocking it and kicking cancer in the booty!

Bruce took a special liking to Papaw and to be honest I think Papaw took a liking to him!

One of the coolest things about being in their house was the toys. Some of them were the toys that Andy and his sisters played with as well as Ma!

By the way the Sock Monkey now rests with the rest of his family at the ATX Harvey's household :)

Andy is teaching them early :)
No trip to Odessa is complete without:

I was so excited when I found out that Memaw had a high chair! So much easier to feed Bruce when he is seated! But this high chair was even cooler because it is the very high chair that Memaw used when she was a baby :)

Savannah decided that she fit the chair better than Bruce

Before we left Memaw and Papaw cooked us breakfast...it was so good :)
We had a great time and can't wait to go back! Thank you for hosting us Papaw and Memaw...We love you!
