Pictures from our weekend in Bridge City

We visited Bridge City the weekend of the 17th for Ma's birthday and to meet Baby Alex! It rained all day so we stayed inside and just visited and played...home you enjoy the pictures
The best picture we could get of Pa and Ma with their grandbabies! Trying to get all 3 kids to look and smile was interesting

The best we could get of the three! Love those faces!

The Harvey and the Amos family...missing the Crowls!

Meeting Alex for the first time!

Savannah and Aunt Randi!

look at that cute smile!

Bruce is known as the pacifier theif...just wait Bruce Alex will be mobile next time and you better watch out :)

Bruce playing with Ma!

In case you didn't know my in-laws are rebuilding a completely gutted house. It has been an amazing transition! My father-in-law needed help putting the bath tub in so he waited for Andy and Daryl

Although it rained we did find a little break and went for a swing!

Daddy and Alex!

All three of the cuties looking at the dancing doggie

We had a great trip and can't wait to see them again!

This past weekend was crazy busy for us and we are so thankful that Ma could come in to help watch the kids!

Take me out to the...

BALL GAME!
For those of you that don't know my dad is a high school baseball coach. He is the reason my brother and I both went into coaching! My mom says that people used to tell her that my brother and I would hate sports when we got older because she took us to all the games. Well that is anything from the truth!
Today is the 1st official game for Lake Travis Baseball and we couldn't be more excited! Andy is the announcer and I keep the scorebook for all the home games. We are keeping the Kinnan tradition alive and bringing our kids with us as well.

In our Lake Travis gear...Savannah loves the baseball field! She loves going down into the dugout before the games and then after helping the boys rake and water the field. Bruce had a blast on Tuesday and I am sure it will be many years of fun for him!

They love their Papa! Can you tell what number he is?

And because this smile can make any day better! Happy Friday eve!

Texas Travelers

This weekend started on Thursday night for us when we loaded up and traveled to Dallas. Friday morning Andy and I needed to attend a meeting in Dallas so my cousin Marcus and my Mama graciously babysat the kids. I am so blessed to have family that will help out and don't let Marcus fool you...he had a great time :)
My Mama has also been watching my cousins baby Skylar so here is a picture of Bruce with Marcus and Skylar! :)
Around 1 pm Friday we left Dallas and headed to Bridge City to see Andy's parents and meet out new nephew Alex.

We had a great visit with everyone and I have lots of pictures to share but I left my camera in Bridge City so it will have to wait until this weekend. Here is a picture of Bruce with his cousin Alex...they are going to be great buds soon!
Around 5 pm Saturday night we headed back to Austin for church the next morning. Yes, you read that right...we traveled to Dallas, Bridge City, and back with in 2 days:)
Sunday night we went to eat with my Dad at Chilis (Mom was helping her parents)

Savannah loves the corn on the cob at Chili's

And Bruce is such a Harvey/Kinnan...Loves sweet tea!
Monday we had the day off. It started with Bruce at his 9 month check up! He weighs 19 lbs and is 30 in long. Which translates to 25% of weight and 95% of height :)

After the doctors office I took Bruce home so he could sleep and Savannah and I went and got our nails done!

The ladies just eat her up!

We had a great weekend and I can't wait to show you lots of pictures! Until then have a great Tuesday!

Blessed by Grandparents!

Andy and I are so blessed to have known our grandparents our entire life! When Savannah was born she had all 8 Great Grandparents alive and she was lucky enough to meet them all!
I have always had a close relationship with my grandparents. Many of my childhood memories are spent at my grandparents houses during the summer. I will never take for granted the fact that I am 29 and still have grandparents living.

My Granddad and Grandmother - My Mom's parents

My Mama - Dad's Mom

My sweet Papa - my dad's dad = He is enjoying life in Heaven but we miss him so much!

Andy's Granjack and Grannie. Grannie went to Heaven not long after my Papa. I miss her laughter!

Andy's Papaw and Memaw.

Lately it seems that our all of our grandparents are fighting sickness and getting older. They are fighting daily and we cherish every moment we have with them. We love them so much and are so glad that this world is not the end! I am so blessed in knowing that all of our grandparents are Christians and will spend eternity in Heaven praising our Lord!

Savannah and Bruce have 2 sets of amazing grandparents who love them and would do anything for them. I look forward to many years watching them grow up loving and knowing their grandparents!

WE ARE BLESSED!

Our Valentines

Our valentines day started out with Flowers from Daddy...the red were mine

And the pink were Savannah's!

She was so excited to get flowers from Daddy!

Our sweet babies with their Valentines outfits on

When we got home from school the kids got their valentines presents from us

Then we made heart pizza from Papa Murphy's

Savannah and I decided to make heart cookies...but she really just wanted to eat the dough - she is so her fathers child

Bruce was trying to climb up and be part of the action

After pizza and cookies the kids got to take a light bath...basically glow sticks in the water and then turn the lights off! They LOVE it!

Although I didn't get any pictures with Andy he is my valentine and we had a very relaxing night!

Valentines Parties at school

Yesterday Savannah and Bruce had their class valentines party. I am one of the class mom's in Savannah's class so I was in charge of decorations. Our theme was Candy Land!

The best picture we could get of 3 year olds :)...notice who is front and center!

They dug for Candy

And posed for pictures in our "photo booth"
