Little Jumparoo

Savannah is practicing to be either a runner or a jumper. I am not moving her at all.

Pacifier

This weekend Savannah and I had a relaxing Saturday at home. Here are some pictures and a video from our day. My child is the smartest kid I know...she has figured out to pick up the pacifier and put it into her mouth.

Good Luck Daddy

Andy is the Academic Social Studies Coach at Hudson Bend. After working with his kids all semester, they competed on Saturday at UIL. He was very proud of his kids...in fact two of them even placed.

Savannah decided she wanted to wish Daddy good luck. Here are the pictures.

Hail!

Yesterday Cedar Park was one of the worst spots hit by a Central Texas Storm. Andy was at the church office and Savannah and I were home. When the hail started she was fine but when it got louder and heavier she started to freak out. Here are some pictures of the hail.

I love my cousin!

Last week Uncle Ryan, Aunt Jennifer, and Addisyn came down to visit. Aunt Jennifer bought Savannah and Addisyn matching Easter outfits so we decided we would attempt to get pictures of them together in the outfits.
Savannah loves watching everything Addisyn does and Addisyn loves holding Savannah. Here are a couple pictures from Jennifer's camera.

She was trying to take the sun glasses off and Addisyn was trying to stop her...that is why she is holding her hand :)

Feed me!

On Monday of last week we had Savannah's 6 month check up. She is growing up so fast but she is still so small! The Pediatrician actually told me that I needed to feed her more...that is not a Kinnan (maiden name) trait. :)

So this week we are starting something new...
Bottle 6 am
Breakfast (solid) at daycare around 9
Bottle around 11
Lunch (solid) at 1
Bottle at 3ish
Dinner at 6ish
Bottle at 9ish

We will see. This weekend we are going to start fruits which I am excited about because I am not a fan of the carrots, sweet potatoes, or squash. (Not a Mommy or Daddy trait) She loves the Sweet Potatoes!

Her current measurements are:
15.7 lbs
25 in. long

What a week!

CHEESE!!!!

Well, let me just start by saying I had every intention of updating the blog daily with progress on our Spring Break activities but while building the deck we hit our internet cable and we were down until late Friday.

With that being said our deck is almost done! Andy has been working hard and as we all found out it takes a lot longer than we had orginally thought. I was able to clean out the closets, paint the house, and organize the garage. Once the deck is done I will post pictures of all our before and after work we did this week!

Until then some of our highlights were:

Starting orange veggies...her face matches her hair!

Visiting Nana at work

Uncle Ryan, Aunt Jennifer, and Addisyn visit

San Antonio with Jason and Jill
They moved here from CA and had never been to SA

We are so glad we have gotten to know them!
Jason is Savannah's boyfriend!

Love Jill!

On the boat...it was so hot and the only thing that kept her from fussing was the bottle!

Papa's team playing at Dell Diamond

Visit from Pa, Ma, and Aunt Amy! (She was a surprise to us and we were so excited!)
Playing on the floor
Watching Elton!
Pooped!

Happy St. Patty's Day

Our Spring Break Projects

Organize Garage
Repaint all baseboards, doors, and window seals WHITE!!
Tear down, rebuild and extend Deck

Nothing on Saturday...

So Andy and I were a little upset but kinda excited about Dad's baseball tournament being cancelled due to rain. We thought...A Free Saturday? What is that?

Well after we slept in until 7 am! (that is 3 hours after we normally get up) Then Mom and Dad called and said they were going to go to the UT baseball game to watch Dad's former player pitch. So what did we do...we went to a BASEBALL GAME!!

OUR LIVES = LOVE OF SPORTS!!!

Savannah's new trick

Listen carefully and you will hear her spitting at me. At the end she got ahold of the phone and put it straight to her mouth.

Half a year!

I can hardly believe Savannah is 6 months old! She has grown up so much since the first time I saw her beautiful face! God has blessed Andy and I with one very happy and fun loving baby!
These are some things Savannah can do at 6 months

- Smile all the time!

- Hug your neck and give you open mouth kisses

-Sit up by herself

- Roll over

-Grab anything she can reach

- Eats cereal and green beans :)

- Loves people watching

- Has attended Volleyball, Basketball, Football, and Baseball games

- Traveled out of the state to visit family

We love you Savannah and can't wait to see how you change in another 6 months!

Here are some pictures of her each month: 1 Day old - September 11, 2008

Elton John...Really?

Last night I had a track meet. Andy is an amazing Coaches Husband...he comes to all my games and supports my team. However, when I first started coaching I told him not to come to track meets...not because I didn't want him there but because it is boring. He insisted on coming and he found out right away he was BORED! So since then he doesn't really come to those anymore. I say all this to tell you that he picked Savannah up from day care yesterday and was excited to have a Daddy/Savannah night.

Well, Savannah had other plans. She decided she was going to scream and fuss the entire time. He text me around 6 and told me that she won't stop fussing and wouldn't eat her cereal. This is very odd since she loves her cereal.

Apparently he decided to see if she would like to watch a little TV. Andy loves all types of music. I have become more open to music other than country and chrisitian since I met Andy but I am not a fan of Elton John. I know he is a great musician and writes his own songs...blah...blah...blah. A couple of weeks ago Andy got his new DVD and he decided last night that Savannah might like it.

Well like it was an understatement...she LOVED it. He put her in the bobby chair and she stopped fussing and was completely still. He said they watched it until our DVD player gave out which was about 30 minutes later and then the fussing began again. Here is a picture...

New tricks

Savannah has been surprising Andy and I lately. Everyday she does something new. This week she has really started to sit up...she still falls but she is staying up for a lot longer. Yesterday when I picked her up from day care they informed me that she scooted across the floor...it took her a little while but she made it. WOW...she will be crawling soon!

By far the funniest thing Savannah has started to do is stick her tongue out at us and spitting or blowing bubbles. It crackes us up which makes Savannah do it more...I am trying to get it on camera but when that comes out she wants to eat it. However, it isn't fun when she is trying to eat and she does it because cereal goes all over me!
And finally we are putting her in high chairs and shopping carts without her stroller. She will be 6 months old on the 10th and I can't believe it! Here are a couple more pictures.
She was so pooped after this weekend...this is Sunday at 5 pm

Pictures from the weekend

As I stated in the last post we had a busy weekend! Here are just a few pictures from it!

Addisyn helping Uncle Andy announce at the game...she kept repeating everything he said and she turned the mic up and down.

Savannah just wanted to eat the mic!

Addisyn, Nana, and Savannah playing at the bouncy house.

A new toy from Ma and Pa...she looks so tired :)

I am loved!
