Swim Lessons

I can't believe Savannah is old enough for swim lessons!  Monday - Thursday for the past 2 weeks we have taken her to swim lessons.  We are in the process of deciding if we will go again in another couple of weeks as well.  She has done such a great job and we are so proud of her!
The first time Ms. Ashley asked her to go under the water she freaked out!  Now she is a pro...although she still holds onto Ashley's neck!
Kicking her legs on kick board!
Floating...although she is a little crooked
Bruce comes with us some days...today he was having a blast watching Savannah and chasing the birds!
Savannah's favorite part is going under the water to get the rings...she ask Ashley to do it about 10 times each class.  Today she wore goggles so that she would open her eyes under the water!
Savannah has done a great job and we are sad that tomorrow is the last day!  We will be taking her to the pool this summer to practice what she has learned.
And here's Bruce climbing the chair...such a boy!

We have a couple more fun activities planned this week and then we head to Dallas to see Addisyn play t-ball and her birthday party!  So excited for what Samantha has in store for the party!

Changing some things up!

Over the past month I have gotten a couple different things to hang on the wall.  We have been so busy that they have been sitting on the counter.  Monday was our first day home and I was very excited to clean, organize, and redo some of the walls.
This wall has had a couple different things on it over the past couple of years...I have wanted this subway art for a while and Andy got it for me for Mother's Day!  This wall is directly in front of you when you walk in our front door.
My sister in love Amy gave me this sign as a bridesmaid present and it has been hanging ever since...although sometimes we complain about our house being small we are so blessed to have it and that we live in the house!  I thought the new picture of the kids fit perfectly with the sign.  They certainly do love each other!
I have been wanting to make Savannah a chore chart for sometime know.  I searched all over pintrest and was planning on making my own this week.  Yesterday we met Aunt Amy for Taco Tuesday at Rosa's and got there early so we went to Mardel (a Christian book store) and found this awesome chore chart!  For every magnet she gets we will give her a nickel.  I am also working on 3 different jars for her to put her money in...Save, Church, and Spend!
We have a cross wall when you first walk into our house... Since Savannah has been small I will pick up a cross for her here and there...so we decided she needed a cross wall in her room as well!  She told me the other night that Jesus died on the polka dot cross :)
And speaking of cross walls...we changed it up a bit and added the kids 1 year canvas pictures to it.  Bruce looks huge compared to Savannah!  He did way almost 8 more lbs than her at his 1 year appointment but his picture is also closer than hers.  Oh well I think they are both super cute!

Now to finish organizing the rest of the house and get ready for a garage sale...we decided to have one so that we can get rid of some of our junk. And what doesn't sell will go to Goodwill!

MIA-iPhone dump

So I know I have been MIA for about a week...between baseball camp, swimming lessons, gymnastics, and family visiting we have had a busy but fun filled week! Here are some pictures that I took with my iPhone over the week.

Savannah was so excited when she realized that Lilia was in her class. Lilia is our next door neighbor and 10 younger than Savannah!

One day last week Addisyn came with us to the pool to swim and watch Savannah

Last week we went to Savannah's 1st dentist appointment- unfortunately we will be back in 2 weeks for a cavity. But she did a great job for the dentist :)

Savannah had a great time at baseball camp - she wanted to be by Addisyn every time she could.

We finally signed Savannah up or gymnastics an she had a great time!

Monday was our first day to stay home in 2 weeks...needless to say our house needed to be cleaned. Bruce is scared to death of the vacuum but he loved the broom.

Finally today we headed to the splash pad with Isaiah, Lauren, Claire, Ali and Ms. Jennifer

The kids loved it and I have a feeling we will be back

Hope you are having a great week and i promise to post more soon!

Quick trip to Bridge City

On our way to Florida and on our way home from Florida we made a stop to see Pa!  Ma is still in Odessa and we missed her tons but had a great time with Pa! One night we went to eat at Chili's...Bruce loves to dip!
Savannah absolutely loves her Pa...and I think he kinda likes fer too!
Of course no trip is complete to Bridge City without some swinging!
Savannah loves to kick Pa in the bo-hiney :)

And finally some new pictures of the house!  If you remember from our Trailer Christmas, we were inside the house with studs but no walls...now the house has walls and paint!
