Florida Vacation

Last week Andy and I loaded the kids in the car and headed to Gulf Breeze, Florida to spend some time with Daryl, Randi, and Alex.  Since we were able to go a little before we had expected we got to spend the Saturday night with Rob and Amy.  Like always we had a great time and really enjoyed our extra time!

Can you tell they are related?
We decided to get a picture of the "in-laws"...then Rob and Daryl attacked me :)
They can always make me laugh!
We also got to spend some extra time with this little man!  Look at the 2 teeth :)
We tried to get a picture of all the kids but...Bruce wanted to get away from Savannah and Alex didn't know what to think :)
This was the best we could get.

Sunday after it finally stopped raining we went for a little swim :)

Monday morning Daryl and Randi had to work so we decided to check out the beach.  I was so excited and ready to go sit on the beach for a couple hours.  But when we got to the beach the red flag was up due to the storms that had come through and were coming in.  We tried the water but it was just too strong for the kids.
We did play in the sand for just a little bit but ultimately decided to go on the pier
Savannah was very interested in this man...he was fishing then just dropping the fish on the pier...GROSS!

Since the beach was a bust we decided to try out the local Zoo.  We loved it!  Savannah could feed a lot of the animals and Bruce squealed every time we went to another animal.
Feeding some of the baby goats and then her favorite Giraffe's

 In the Kangaroo board :)
Bruce loved the train!
 and the snow cones!
After Randi got off work we headed to Pensacola and to the famous McGuire's Pub
They have money all over the ceiling and walls...people write something on a dollar bill and then staple them to the ceiling or wall.  So naturally Savannah wanted to do it!
So excited to write on her dollar!
We had a great time with Randi, Daryl, and Alex.  Can't wait to see them again!  Stay tuned for more blogs about our vacation
