Our family Christmas

Since Andy has practice tomorrow night and we have the Christmas Eve Service on Thursday we decided to do our family Christmas tonight! Here are some of the fun things we got

A New TV for our Bedroom

Andy - Blanket with Springsteen lyrics, Books, and Ove Gloves

Claire - Standing Jewerly box, Slippers, Jacket

Savy - Books, Videos, Sippy cups, Blanket with name, Place mats, Drum Sticks, and a WAGON!

We were cracking up because she is quite the little drummer...She got into the wagon before it was put together and started playing on it! WE hope your family has a MERRY CHRISTMAS and that we all remember the true reason for the season! If you are around Austin on Christmas Eve come join us at the Oasis for the service. It starts at 5:00 and afterwards there is drinks and appetizers!

3 PEAT!!

Lake Travis won it's 3rd straight State Championship on Saturday night! It has been a great run and we have been blessed to be a part of everyone!
In 2007, Andy and I have been married for a little over a year when we were talking about starting a family. It was at the state championship game that we heard the name Savannah...we found out we were pregnant two weeks later.
In 2008, Savannah was 2 months old and she slept the ENTIRE GAME!!!
In 2009, Savannah was all bundled up again and this time was walking all through the stands.

If you don't know my family, we eat, sleep, and do sports. For my dad the past three football seasons have started somewhere around July 15th and ended around December 20th! I don't think any of us ever dreamed that we would be a part of this dynasty that Lake Travis is building! This year our good friends Jason and Jill joined in on the fun!

Thanks LT for all the memories! LET IT BE 4!!!

15 months!!!

I can't believe Savannah is 15 months today! She is getting so big! Here are a couple quick facts about her:

- Weighs about 22 lbs

- Runs everywhere...

- Is a Daddy, Pa, and Papa girl! Forget it if one of them is around!

- Doesn't really say a lot of words but makes some funny noises and sounds...can tell you what a duck says, a cow, and a dog

- Loves to take things from one place to another and then back again

- LOVES MUSIC...she is a dancing queen at our house

I Love being a mom! Although it is not the easiest job...she has a mind of her own and is stubborn (have no idea where she gets that from) We are so looking to the holidays with all of our family!

Happy Birthday to Mommy!

I love my birthday! In fact after Thanksgiving I start a birthday week countdown! However, for some reason this year I didn't get so excited...but being the Husband that he is he made it super special!

I was wokend up the morning of my birthday with a kiss from Savannah! Andy made me breakfast and we all sat in the bed and ate breakfast and I opened my present. They got me Nick and Nora PJs (which I love!!!)

About 2 hours into work I got a call from the front office that I had something up there. Not really thinking anything I was shocked when I saw flowers from my Husband and chocolate covered strawberries from Savannah!

After work I got home, changed, and we went to look at Christmas ligts....this is a tradition for us. Normally we go to the Zilker Tree but we were eating dinner by our house so we went to Cedar Park. We found this street that was amazing! All the neighbors had set up their houses...lights going across the street, music playing, and even a fire. Savannah loved it!!! Which made me so happy because this is something I love! After the lights we went to Texas Land and Cattle (another tradition) and ate with my parents, Amy and Rob, and Sean and Tuck.

Here are some pictures!

The night ended with Savannah and I in our PJ's!

Girls weekend

I got an early birthday present this weekend. Two of my girlfriends and I went to Canton for some fun shopping. Andy kept Savannah and we were off to Dallas on Friday afternoon. We had a blast...I am so honored to have women in my life that I can rely on, laugh with, and cry with. It was very cold but we had a blast. Below are two pictures of us before we started shopping...it was 27 degrees when we got there...by the way it is all outside!!!

And a special Thanks to my wonderful in-laws who came to Austin to see Savannah and spend time with Andy!

Christmas at our house

I love Christmas and I love decorating for it! Here are a few pictures from our house at Christmas!
Whose stocking is pink? I hope to get stockings that all match this year after Christmas

Notice the nativity scene of the far left...Charlie Brown!
Not really sure what to think of Mr. Snowman
We love Nick and Nora PJs
She had just taken a bath...wet hair. And we are working on no Plug
Every girl has to have a pink tree :) Notice the sock monkey's in the tree...they have transfered between hers and the big one a lot the past couple of days
Mommy and Savannah pooped after putting up all the decorations

Gingerbread fun!

Saturday night we decided to try our hand at making a Gingerbread house. It was the first time that I can remember making one. Andy had to work on some church stuff but William, Amy, Savannah, and I were game. We laughed so hard and had a blast...check out the pictures to see why.!

What it was supposed to look like

SAWC = Savannah, Amy, William, and Claire
The finished product...notice the house is not standing! Right as we were taking the picture it fell and Savannah was feeding Amy.

Weekend Fun!

My cousin William is in the Corps at A&M so he wasn't able to come to Thanksgiving in Dallas since the game was that night. So, William, Amy (his girlfriend), Aunt Jenny, and Mama came to our house on Friday to hang out for the weekend. Here are some pictures!
Savannah in Williams Senior boots...they are a very special thing for seniors at A&M...ask and he will tell you about the tradition.

Savannah loved sitting with William...this is Saturday Morning while watching cartoons

Aunt Jenny brought bunnies to Austin for us to give to some of Uncle Elvis' friends. Savannah loved them! Too bad they are gone now

We all piled into Mama's van on Saturday and drove to San Antonio for another LT football WIN!!! It is hard for Savannah to stay sitting the whole game but once she got cheetos she was good!

Saturday night we took everyone to the Oasis. They had a fountain that Daddy put Savannah up too.

ICE

Over Thankgiving we went to Dallas to spend time with my family. While there we went to the Gaylord Texas Hotel and went t something called ICE. It is an awesome exhibit where everything is made of ice! 2000 pounds of ice were brought in and the theme was How the Grinch stole Christmas. The room is 9 degrees and then give everyone parkas to where. Savannah's was HUGE!! We had a blast...enjoy the pictures. The video is of Savannah walking around...we thought it was so funny because she looked like ET walking!
