First Haircut!

We have been talking about getting Savy's hair cut for a couple weeks...I have not wanted too because well I love her hair! But the top part gets so long that it gets caught in her face and she pushes it away.
So this afternoon we decided to bite the bullet! Here are some of the fun pictures!
She wasn't too sure about the car or what was going on

Then the cape went on and she freaked out!

Right about know she is crying "Mommy...Daddy"

A lollipop makes it a little better

Look how cute!

She looks more and more like a toddler and not baby!

Eric's birthday and Main Event

A couple of weeks ago a new couple started coming to our community group...they have been married a couple of months and we love having them around and getting to know them. It helps that Eric is a baseball fan and well Rachel is since he is! Last night was Eric' birthday so we all went to Main event and had a blast! Here are some pictures

Savannah with the Birthday Boy! (He also works in the 1 year olds room at church)

It didn't take long for Savannah to figure out where the games were!

She loved skeet ball

We were all cracking up because she would climb under the cage and throw the ball!

Andy and Jason

Some of the great girls from church!

My man and me!

Cowgirl up!

This weekend we were all excited to just spend time the three of us! Friday night we had our last baseball game of district and the Cavs came out 2nd in our district. We are excited for playoffs to start but happy to have a week off.

As I stated before we were going to Disney on Ice. I didn't think we could take our camera in so I left it in the car. But Savannah had a blast! She loved the Cars the best...she has watched the movie a lot! Although she got a little restless after intermission, she did a great job and she even talked Daddy into her very own stuffed Lighting McQueen...no girly stuff for her!
Here are the pictures of us before we left.

On Sunday we went to church but not without my Miss Priss insisting on wearing her boots...we tried two other shoes and she wasn't having it so I decided to give in and boy and I glad I did. Look how cute she looks!

Wordless Wednesday

With the events of last weekend...Mommy's stay in the hospital and Daddy staying with her, all Savannah wants to do is sit right next to Mommy or Daddy! Even when Daddy is so tired he fell asleep. She kept telling me Shh!
This weekend should be filled with excitement and not the hospital kind. We are going to Disney on Ice Saturday and are so excited!

Petting zoo!

Savannah's day care had a special treat for the kids today. A PETTING ZOO!! At first Savannah wasn't really sure because the goats kept jumping up but once she figured out she could hold the bunnies and chase the pigs she loved it! Everytime I would look away she would grab another bunny! Here are some pictures

With Ms. Laura (her wonderful teacher!) still not too sure about the animals

Okay Mommy...the pigs say oink oink (she makes a gurgling sound with her throat). I am going to try to catch one

They run to fast...I will try to get the bunny instead

I got it!!!

Trying to get another bunny...sorry I can't turn this picture for some reason

Safe again with Ms. Laura!

Rambling thoughts this week

Last weekend the women of Crossroads had a retreat. It was truly amazing and God spoke to me in many ways. I was reminded that when I am upset or frustrated to Vent and talk to God about it not my husband or friends. God is so good and so faithful and I just have to trust Him!
I could go on and on about the retreat but right now I have so many thoughts going through my head so I thought I would just share a few.

1. My house needs to be cleaned

Yes, that's right she is helping Mommy clean the toliets. Before the retreat I wanted to clean the bathrooms so when I got home I didn't have too. Savannah has taken a liking to the vacum, dusting, but most of all cleaning the toliets! WOO HOO!!

2. The weather is finally great and I can't wait until we get to be in this all summer!

The water was a little cold but we had fun watching Savannah in her pool...

3. We have Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday night free...what are we going to do with all the extra time!

4. We only have 8 more weeks until Summer...School's out for the summer is already starting to play in my head!

5. Savannah is sleeping until 6:45 or 7:00 am these days so I actually have to set an alarm clock again!

6. Savannah's little personality is so much fun (and trying at times)

7. We are going to go see Disney on Ice next weekend...I am so excited...I may be more of a child at the show than Savannah. Pray for Andy :)

8. Austin is beautiful...the flowers this time of year are amazing. Only God could make it look so beautiful! However, the pollen has not been our friend but we won't worry about that!

9. Trying to get out of debt is not fun but so worth it...

10. I am really missing my Papa! Talked to Mama this morning (he died one year ago today) and we cried and laughed together.

Okay I guess I should get back to school...the bell just rang so my students are calling!

Hope you have a great week!

Easter Day!

This is the Day that the Lord has made, Let us be glad and Rejoice in it! I love Easter! Our service was amazing...the band did great and Brady's sermon made me cry! God is so good and has such grace! Thanks you Jesus for dying on the cross!
Here are some pictures from the Easter!
The Easter Bunny was good to Savannah!
Family Pictures

After church was over we had a picnic and a Easter egg hunt on the lawn of the school where we meet for church!

Savannah was more interested in what was inside to pick up the eggs!

After a little while the Easter Bunny (AKA: Daddy) came out to take pictures with the kids and play around. Savannah wanted no part of the Bunny...even after she figured out it was Daddy

Savannah was so tired and she just loved on Ma!

This last picture was taken when she woke up from her nap...Loving on Daddy!
