My Baby is growing up!

A couple weeks ago I told you that Savannah got our of her crib and we were off to the start of a big girl bed! Well, for three weeks Savannah slept on a toddler blow up mattress and did great...Andy's dad has been refinishing an old bed for Savannah and we were waiting until it was almost done to transition her again. This weekend we went out and bought Savannah her two mattresses to go on her bed. (which by the way is finished and from the pictures it is BEAUTIFUL!!) We will be getting her bed next weekend.
However, until then Savannah is on her two mattresses. The first 30 minutes that we laid the mattresses in her room she was jumping all around! We are three nights in and she is doing great...I think she loves it!
In about three weeks we will have the rest of her furniture in the room and I am working hard to get it ready before the new year into a big girl room!
I can't believe she is growing up so fast! We decided to stay with brown and pink but to have some color. I found this awesome girly comforter set at Target and we are decorating the room according to this. I will show the finished project when we are done!

Here is Savannah in her bed the first night talking to Pa and Ma on Skype!

By the way 7 days in counting until ALABAMA!!! WE ARE SO READY!!!

Wordless Wednesday

It has been a crazy 5 days! We have all been sick with some sort of stomach bug but I had to get wordless wednesday up!

This picture is Savannah eating straight butter...GROSS!! I only let her eat one thing

It's been a hard couple of nights so on our way to school I normally find her like this within 3 minutes. By the way this time change is screwing me up!

Finally my happy baby is back...no longer sick!

Welcome to our crazy life!

Life is crazy right now. We are all battling to just get up and out the door on time with everything in hand.

This week I finished Volleyball Monday night. Had a basketball parent meeting on Tuesday night and started tryouts at 7:15 am on Wednesday. I have left my phone, my wallet, my school keys, my lunch, my clothes for the parent meeting, and my makeup (since I put it on at schoool) at home this week. Where is my brain?
I wanted to take this post and tell you about my husband! I know I have told you about Andy before but this week I have seen how truly blessed I am. He has literally taken Savannah to school and picked her up everyday. Mommy hasn't gotten home until at least 6 if not later. Which meant Daddy was in charge of dinner, baths, diapers, house cleaning, reading books, and helping tuck her in at night.

Andy has never complained or even handed her off as soon as I walk in the door. He is such a hands on daddy. When I appologized this week for my schedule and my absence this week his response was "Well I kinda like her, you know?"

Andy has always been a great husband and dad. After all he has learned from one of the best I know. But I think it took me this week to realize just how much he sacrifices for me and my job. Not only has he taken care of Savannah he has been my best friend, asking about my day, listening to his wife talk and talk! Then when it is finally time for bed he goes and works on Grad school. Amazing!
Thanks Babe! I love you so much!

I am BLESSED!!!

WORLD SERIES!!!

Saturday we were able to go to one of my dreams! The world series! We were able to witness history in baseball because it was the first ever World Series game for the Rangers and the first win for any Texas baseball team! Although the Rangers didn't win the series we are still proud of them and really enjoyed the game!

Our little family of 3 but if you look close you can see the 4th one! Sorry we were looking into the sun so Savannah didn't want to look at Uncle Ryan.

3 of my favorite men!

Walking up the ramp...you can see all the people coming in below. We were handed towels and a lanyard when we walked in. Savannah would not let us hold them the entire walk up!

At the Ranger's park they have a kids zone in center field. While Ryan and Dad watched batting practice we decided we would take Savannah down to the kids zone. Here she is playing Plinko.

The slingshot

Matching Tattoo's...she wasn't so sure so she asked Mommy to do it first!

Look at the happy girl!

The national anthem...Kelly Clarkson sang!

The flyover...it scared Savannah!

The famous Nolan Ryan throwing out the first pitch!

And catching...non other than Pudge Rodriguez!

some of the anthers we saw!

We had a great time and it is a memory I will have forever!

Halloween

This year since Savannah is still young we decided to go help at a Block party for friends at church. Savannah had a great time and we still got lots of candy! Isn't she the cutest M&M!
Jumping in the bouncy house with Daddy and Emily!

Not so sure about the fire truck

Hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween!
