One Great Weekend!

This was the weekend we were looking forward too for about a month! It was the first weekend we didn't have anything planned and we were just going to be together as a family!

I have wanted to take Savannah to a pumkin patch for a couple weeks and we just never could get around too it. So this weekend Andy and I thought we would head to the YMCA to take a couple pictures with the pumpkins. Much to my dismay they had a pumpkin patch and a carnival.

Savannah trying to tell me to eat the corn!

Daddy and Savannah having fun

After we took a couple pictures in the patch we made our way over to the carnival. They didn't have a lot for small children but they did have a petting zoo. Savannah was so excited about the animals!

Funny story about the pigs...Savannah really wanted to hold them so Andy got one out of the little crate and as soon as Savannah held it the pig squeled and Savannah threw him in the air. Andy had to chase this baby pig around the pin trying to catch it. I was cracking up!

Baby Chicks

We called this bunny "Pud" he reminded Andy and I of Andy's old cat!

Savannah wanted to ride the sheep because another kid was but when we put her on it she wasn't so sure.

They also had pony rides and she seemed to really be interested. We have tried to get her to ride one before and she freaked out because we weren't allowed to go with her. This time Andy was able to walk right next to her. She had a death grip the whole time!

Another thing they had was a trackless train. Most of the parents were riding with the kids but Savannah wanted to ride by herself! Such a big girl!

After the carnival we all came home and took a 2 1/2 hour nap! It was great! Then Andy and I got a special treat and went on a date! My parents took Savannah to the mall and to eat while Andy and I enjoyed a nice dinner at Texas Land and Cattle and then a movie!
Sunday after church we all came home and did laundry, slept, and hung out as a family! It was a great weekend!
The picture below: I asked Andy to get Savannah in PJ's and ready for bed while I went to the restroom. When I came out I found this and Savannah stayed laying on Daddy for an hour before bed! It was so sweet!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We are headed to the World Series this weekend so there will be plenty of pictures soon!

It was hat day at Daycare...Andy wasn't really happy about the team that she was wearing but I thought it was cute...the caption said "Put me in Coach!"

No twins!

Today was our first look at the baby! And great news...THERE IS JUST ONE!!! if you don't know what I am talking about my mom and I both had dreams I was having twins!

The appointment went really well and Savannah was great. She kept telling the Dr. that she was going to hold the baby! This appt was a first screen to check for down syndrome and some other things but for us it was really just to see the baby!

The baby kept moving around and was being some what stubborn...I don't know who it gets that from. Savannah did the same thing which made me laugh because that just means this one already has a little personality as well. We will find out in a week the results. I will hopefully be able to post pictures of the ultrasound soon.

Weekend with Family

This weekend Pa and Ma came into town to help watch Savannah and temporarilly fix our bathroom. I had a volleyball tournament all day on Saturday so I didn't get to spend as much time with them as I would like. But Thanksgiving is only 6 weeks away! I CAN'T WAIT!!

Here are a couple pictures that I was able to get

Loving on Ma after dinner

Cool Aunt Amy riding Savannah's new toy with her and allowing her to wear her floaties

Relaxing and reading with Pa!
Thanks again for coming and helping! We love you and can't wait to see you guys and Uncle Daryl and Aunt Randi in a couple weeks!!!

State Fair!!!

We made our way up to the State Fair on Saturday and had a blast! Here are some pictures!

Big Tex!

We only played one game and rode one ride because well it is EXPENSIVE but Savannah loved it either way!

Fishing with Daddy

Riding the airplanes!

Lots of playing...Andy and Savannah on some toy. And yes, Savannah batted her eyes and got Savannah one. Although I said it is going away for Christmas, it was out when we got home!
Check out Savannah's tongue here!

She was chasing birds!

She is getting so big! Love this face!

The state fair car show is all the new models of cars. We sat in a lot of cars and wondered if money weren't an option...would we? Here are the girls in a Corvette...to be honest it was way to low that I would never get one.

Jill in the new truck! She is turning more Texan every day...:)
Andy playing a F-150 trivia game!

We can't go to the State Fair without a corn dog! Did you know that the corn dog was actually invented at the Texas State Fair? So good...Here is a picture of Savannah and Daddy eating one...She didn't like the mustard this time :)

We also had funnell cake, taffy, fried butter, fried pizza, and lots of water!

We saw lots of animals. Savannah loved Elsie the cow and her calf but she wouldn't touch them!
This pig is 1201 lbs! It was HUGE!!! I think we all said that is a lot of bacon! We also saw some goats, sheep, baby pigs, roosters, and horses...just didn't get my camera out in time
We had a great time and can't wait until next year!

Our weekend in Dallas

This weekend Daddy went to a worship conference in Waco while Mommy, Savannah, Nana, and Papa went to Dallas to celebrate my Mama turning 75!

Papa, Savannah, and I left Friday morning to head up and meet Nana and her parents (grandmother and grandad) for lunch at Cracker Barrell. We made really good time considering it was Texas/OU weekend. We had a great lunch with Grandmother and Grandad. After lunch while we were waiting on the check my mom took Savannah into the store. Well, Savannah brougth just about every toy back to the table for my Grandad and Grandmother. They thought it was the funniest thing! They ended up buying her a ladybug wind up toy and a light up ball.

Savannah with my Grandmother and Grandad!

After lunch we headed to pick up Addisyn from school and go to Ryan's football game. We had some time to kill before we headed to Ryan's football game so we took the girls to a place that is like Gatti Land. They had a great time with all the games but loved bowling the best. Savannah's idea of bowling was to chunck the ball as she good down the lane! Most of the time she didn't even wait until the pins were down.

After Ryan's game we called it a night due to the early morning Saturday. It was Mama's 75th birthday...hard to believe that she was only 47 when her 3rd grandbaby was born! Mama is the backbone of our family and one of my favorite people! She told us that she can't remember the last time she had a birthday party so we decided to throw her one. It was a crazy morning but we pulled it all together for a great party! She loved that she was surrounded my family and friends and said that it was exactly what she wanted!

I love you Mama and can't wait for the next birthday!

The birthday girl and her cake!

Ryan, Rachel, and Marcus starting to cook. Doesn't my brother look good...he has lost 40 lbs!

The girls had a blast on the trampoline before we ate at the party. Check out Savannah's face!

Cutey ready for the UT Game...she yelled at the TV everytime we did! And for all you UT haters out there...I will still root for them and Garrett is still my favorite! :)

The way Rednecks...or Kinnan's BBQ. Yes, that is three George Foremans sitting there!

After the game just my family went to eat and then went out to Grapevine Mills to get some shopping done and let the girls ride the train.

Addisyn had sparkly shoes and of course Savannah wanted some. We were able to find the shoes in her size after about five shoe stores. She was so excited and wears them all around the house while stomping her feet.

We had a great time, although we missed Daddy! We will all be headed up to Dallas again this weekend for the Texas State Fair! I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Sorry I have been such a bad blogger...we have been very busy but I am working on it.
