Locks of Love!

My sweet girl donated her hair to Locks of Love yesterday!
Mommy may have cried a little...
 But she was so excited!
 My baby is growing up!

Answered Prayer!

Saturday morning I was able to help host a baby shower for my friend Laura!  What a huge blessing this was!  Laura and her husband Paul have been trying for 5 years to conceive a child and have tried everything.  Finally they decided that God might not want them to have a baby and they got pregnant!  We are all so excited to meet Connor!  The nursery is Penguin themed so we decided to go with a Winter Wonderland theme!
We love you Laura, Paul, and Connor!  Can't wait to meet him!

Honoring my Daddy!

Many of you know that after 37 years my Daddy retired from coaching baseball in June. Last week I was once again able to see all the lives my Daddy has impacted!
Daddy along with 2 other coaches were honored during the Round Rock Express game.  The Round Rock express are the minor league team for the Texas Rangers.
Daddy had over 70 people come see him honored.  Friends, family, former coaches, umpires, and former players from all the schools he has coached at came out to the game.  My daddy is an amazing man and coach.  While he was on the dug out and people were standing cheering for him I was overwhelmed with pride to be called his daughter!
I love you Daddy and am so proud of you!  And don't worry my dad isn't leaving the ball field!  He is now going to be helping my brother who is also a head baseball coach, being a Papa, and possibly helping coach Bruce's t-ball team :)

Blue bell

On our last week of summer we checked off 2 things that were on our list at the beginning! The first was blue bell...
We loaded the car with Amy and rob and headed to Brenham!
I love going on a tour and having more respect for the company after I leave!
Did you know that they clean every pipe, piece, and crannie every night!
We had a great time and loved getting ice cream at the end! The one part we did not enjoy-spending $40 on a cow because a certain little boy likes to touch things :)

Last Day of Vacation

No Kinnan Vacation is complete without a trip to the Ballpark.  On our last full day in Colorado we headed to downtown Denver to tour the Rockies stadium.
After touring the ballpark and lunch.  Papa and Nana took the kids along with Aunt Lory to the Denver's Children's museum and then out to eat.  We enjoyed a John Mayer concert at Red Rocks.
