Wordless Wednesday

What a week!

This week was a crazy busy week!  The kids have been looking forward to Wednesday night for a couple of weeks now because one of their favorite people came to hang out!

 Ma came into town to help watch the kids while we worked the Lake Travis Baseball tournament and the kids had a blast!  I think they are all worn out but Savannah already told me tonight that she missed Ma!

 Sunday Feb 17th was Ma's birthday so we decided to celebrate Saturday night!  Uncle Rob and Aunt Amy came over and brought Ma's favorite Rosa's. And of course her cake was their chocolate cake :)

 Ma left this morning and we met Papa and Nana at the park and had lunch.  Then we came home took naps and played in the backyard for almost 2 hours!  We are beat but had a great weekend after a long week! 

 2 more weeks to Spring Break but who is counting! :)

Wordless Wednesday

This is our first full week at our new schools! Lots of changes but going well and Savannah loves her class bunny

Elmo Live and outside fun!

 Saturday morning we took the kids to see Sesame Street Live!  The kids had a great time but by the time intermission started they were done.  And by the way...$10 for an Elmo balloon...RIDICULOUS!  Bruce lost it when we told him no to the balloons! 

 Both kids danced and laughed through the show!

 It was a beautiful day on Saturday so after nap we decided to take advantage and play in our backyard!

Our kids love being outside!  But allergies have kept us in for a while...glad we could finally enjoy the day!

 Saturday night Uncle Jason and Aunt Jill came over for dinner and to hang out.  Andy got this picture of Jason reading to Bruce which I thought was super cute!

Happy Hearts Day!

 I have always liked Valentines Day!  I mean we get chocolate!  Our Valentines nights have changed a lot in the past couple of years but I wouldn't change them for the world!

This morning the kids woke up to their valentines from Daddy and Mommy and then we got them ready for school!

 I was able to catch the end of their class parties where we got a ton of candy!  Let's just say tonight I may throw some away!

 

 Savannah and her friend Jaxson!  She is really going to miss him!

 After I picked the kids up from school we headed home and Daddy picked up a heart pizza and we watched Peter Pan!

Wordless Wednesday

Changes!

Lots of changes are happening this week in the Harvey Household.  As many of you know I have been a coach and teacher at Lake Travis Middle School for the past 7 years.  I have loved every but of my experience but I have been praying about my next steps.  Coaching takes a lot of time away from my family and with the kids getting older and more involved in things I am being pulled in many directions.

An opportunity came available for me to leave coaching and become a Elementary Physical Education teacher.  Two weeks ago I interviewed for the job and was offereed the job 2 days later.  After a crazy week last week I was able to get out of my contract in Lake Travis ISD and sign a contract at Pflugerville ISD.  This big change happens this week!  While I am extremely excited, it is very bitter sweet and scary!  I know God has layed all of the steps out perfectly and I am excited for my new adventure. 

With this new adventure it also changes where the kids go to school/daycare.  After looking at 5 different places we finally found one that we both like and are excited to put the kids there.  They start on Monday the 18th.  I know they will do great but I also hate to take them from a place that they love and are loved!

So there you have it...CHANGES!  And lets be honest I am not a big fan of change so if you wouldn't mind praying for the transition I would appreciate it! 

Here are a couple of pictures from this weekend...I got sick Saturday afternoon so I pretty much slept or layed down the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday!

It's official!

It's our favorite time of year!  Baseball season has started!

 Last night we met Lake Travis' baseball team (my dad is the coach) at the Oasis for pictures and Dinner!

 Bruce had a ball playing. While Savannah hung out with the girl managers!

My kiddo's love the boys and are so excited to see them on a regular basis again!

ArenaCross

Friday night we went to the Cedar Park Center for Arenacross.  Andy loves Arenacross and Supercross so the tickets were his Christmas present from me. We all dressed in our racing gear and after dinner headed to the center.  Savannah was very excited and when we walked in all Bruce was saying was "Dirt" and "Play".

 We bought the kids head phones in case it was loud.  Savannah wore hers almost the whole time but Bruce wanted no part of them.

 I really enjoy the races but this time I think I enjoyed watching the kids more!  Bruce kept saying "Whoa" and laughing :)

 We had a great time and are looking forward to the Supercross in April!
