Chuy's Christmas Parade

On Friday I got an email telling me that the annual Chuy's day parade was this weekend!  I was so excited and talked to Andy about taking the kids.  Saturday morning we got ready and headed downtown for the parade. The kids had a blast and were so good at sitting, waiting, and watching.
Here they are before the parade
I asked Bruce to smile for the camera and this is what he did...all the Chuy's workers started laughing
Of course, Savannah then wanted in on the action :)
Some of the highlights of the parade...
Bruce was so excited to see Elmo!
Of course this was Andy's favorite!
I have no idea who these people were but Andy and I were cracking up!
At the end of the parade you give toys to operation Blue Santa by putting them in the "Toy Trucks"
We had a great time and look forward to going again next year!

Wordless Wednesday - Harvey family pictures!

Thanksgiving Recap!

When Andy got off work on Tuesday we headed to Houston for a quick visit with William and Amy and to see their new house.  We had a great time with them even though it was short and are looking forward to Christmas and seeing them again.

When we woke up on Wednesday we had a quick breakfast with William and Amy and headed to Bridge City! Of course one of the first things we had to do was swing!  Rob and Amy got to BC a little while after us and we enjoyed the weather outside!

Thursday morning we woke up and got ready for Thanksgiving!  I love the picture below of Savannah watching the Parade.
Savannah and Mommy ready for Thanksgiving meal!
Savannah was very interested in Pa and the Turkey!
Check out the face when she realized he had to take the bones and stuff out :)
After the meal we spent sometime outside playing football...
 drawing with chalk...
and of course swinging some more.  Notice three swings and three cousins enjoying the time together!
Friday and Saturday morning consisted of everyone in the house getting the stomach bug.  It was horrible but we still managed to get the kids outside and play!

Although we got the sickies we still had a great time and can't wait for Christmas!  It is so fun to watch the cousins play together and always a good time when the siblings can get together and laugh!
