Date with Daddy and Mommy!

Since we were supposed to be on vacation all week Andy and I decided we would take Savannah on a date today. We took her to this place in Round Rock called Jungle Java! It was so much fun and she really didn't want to leave!
After Jungle Java we went to eat with Mr. Steve at Buffalo Wild Wings and we are about to head out to Zilker park for the annual summer hillside theatre. This year it is Annie so I really think Savannah is going to love it!

Beach 2010!

We were finally headed to our family vacation! Yes, we have been traveling a lot this summer but this was the first time that just the three of us were leaving and not having ANY plans!
We were headed to South East Texas or Rockport! We have family friends that own a condo and they allowed us to spend a couple of days there! We were looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the beach. Well, mother nature had other plans and we didn't end up actually going to the beach but we had a blast anyway! Enjoy the pictures!

No trip is complete without a stop at the best convient store ever!

When we got to Rockport on Sunday we decided to walk out on the pier and just enjoy the water. Don't you just love this picture!

While looking at the water we saw a lot of jelly fish! Savannah kept saying "Look!"

In the middle of all the condos there is a pool and we spent a lot of time there! In between the rain showers we would swim and play outside. Savannah was chasing the seagulls here!

Since we woke up to pour rain and the forecast called for rain we decided to head to Corpus Christi and head to the Texas State Aquarium.

This was one night we were about to watch and movie and Andy and Savannah were making popcorn!


Although we didn't get to go to the actual beach we had a great time and enjoyed our time together!

Zoo!

Savannah and I took a quick trip to Irving to visit some of my family! We had a really good time and I think Savannah's favorite part was the zoo!



Savannah collects giraffe's so I was so excited to let her see them! And then we got to feed them! She was so excited!!!



We went really early so we were able to see the animals up close and personal!

so funny story! I was trying to get the gorilla to look at us for the picture. Well, I tapped the glass and right after this picture he stood up beat his chest and tried to break the glass by hitting his body after the glass. Well needless to say Savannah screamed (so did we!) and ran away crying...I had to run after her. For the next 30 minutes she would say "scary monkey" and "no no monkey!"

Then the birds! They scared the crap out of me when they landed on my shoulder! Savannah finally warmed up to them as well as I!

Celebrating 4 years!

Tomorrow Andy and I celebrate 4 years of marriage! All I can say is I am more in love with Andy than I ever have been! He is an amazing husband, man of God, and Daddy! It seems like yesterday we were having the rehearsal dinner or awaiting Savannah's arrival!

July 15, 2006 ~ Our wedding day! I remember so much about this day! But my favorite memory was during the unity candle we were praying and you thanked God for me and how hot I looked in my wedding dress! Then you prayed for the reception to get over fast so you could get it off me :) I know TMI but hey we were cracking up!

July 15, 2007 ~ 1 year! We had the best 1st year and since we didn't have much money we spent most of our time at home playing board games and hanging out! We saved all year to take a trip for our year anniversary! Nashville was a blast and we plan to go back many more times!

July 15, 2008 ~ I was 8 months pregnant and we were still in shock that we were going to have a baby! We spent the summer enjoying our time just the 2 of us and dreaming about what Savannah would look like! We celebrated our anniversary by going to Fredricksburg and staying at a Bed and Breakfast!

July 15, 2009 ~ 3 years! We were still getting used to being parents and learning new things about each other every day! I learned what I had always known that you were an amazing Daddy. I think I fell more in love with you everyday seeing you with Savannah! This year we decided to just enjoy our time as a family and we went to the zoo!

July 15, 2010 ~ well all I can say is WOW! Another year of having my best friend as my husband! I love you more than you will ever know and I am so blessed to call you my husband!

This year we are going to take Savannah to a movie and then enjoy Trulucks just the two of us! Can't wait to see what this next year holds! I love you Andy! Happy Anniversary!

After the beach we went to Lamberts...home of the Throwed Rolls! They literally throw rolls at you as you eat. We love it and it is GOOD FOOD!!!
