Elmo's world!

We celebrated Savannah's birthday on Saturday since our family from Alabama was in town! We had a blast...there were around 50 people there about 12 of them being kids! CRAZY! The theme was Elmo's world and Savannah loved it. The weather was perfect and everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves. Hope you enjoy the pictures

Friends and family! We had a lot of people at the party! It was truly a blessing to see how many people care about Savannah and our family. Thank you to all who made a special trip to Austin!

Week at home!

Last week was the first week of school and man was it long! Between teaching, coaching, church stuff, Andy starting grad school, and getting ready for Savannah's party it was busy! But we were so forunate to have Momma Harvey (aka Ma) with us for the week! Savannah loved being able to stay with Ma! Let me tell you coming home to laundry being done and food ready to eat was amazing and just the thing we needed after our days!

This year is going to be hard for us with everything we have going on but we know that in the end it will all be worth it! But if we look tired or aren't able to do a lot don't take it personal we are just very busy!

Sandbox fun!

Although Savannah's birthday isn't until Sept. 10th this weekend we got to celebrate a little early! Andy's Dad and Mom came in this weekend to hang out and Momma Harvey is staying this week with us! It is such a blessing because the first week of school is crazy for Andy and I and it is such a big help for us!
Back the the birthday...Pa and Ma got Savannah a sand box for her birthday and to say she likes it is an understatement. I wish I would have gotten a picture of her face when she first saw it!

We also played inside and Pa got a work out with Savannah flying! He even had Amy flying which was so funny and awesome!

This is a picture of Andy and I after a long day at work. Believe it or not I did wear my hair down all of the day! Here's to 187 more days!

Catch up and Sneak Peak!

Okay sorry to play catch up! We have been so busy and have just really been concentrating on spending time with Savannah!
School starts on Monday and we have been back at work for almost a week. We are both doing well and Savannah is adjusting. Each day it seems to get better...and apparently she is a little drama queen because not two minutes after I am gone she stops crying.
We are very excited because on Friday we get a visit from Pa and Ma! SAVANNAH is so excited and so ready for them to be here!

We bought a slip and slide on sale for 2 dollars. We had a great time but Savannah wasn't so sure about sliding...so we had to throw her down the slide :)
