Weekend with Pa and Ma
After Savannah's party on Friday night we got to have Pa and Ma stay the weekend! Savannah and Bruce loved it as well as Daddy and Mommy!
Part of the reason it took all day is because a certain red head wanted to try everything out. So they would put up one thing and then she would play...then they would move on to the next and then she would play!
With the finished product!
Even Bruce has gotten in on the action!
Bruce just hanging out with Pa and Ma!
Savannah spent most of the weekend enjoying her presents...
Dress up clothes from Pa and Ma!
Hungry Hungry Hippo!
One of Savannah's big gifts was a swing set for the back yard from Pa and Ma. Pa, Daddy, and Ma spent the entire day on Saturday putting it together. Savannah spent most of the day out their with them. The way she acted you would have never known it was 105 degrees!
There were a few challenges along the way but no one seemed to get ticked off (which is always good)

The swing set has been up for 2 days and we have probably spent 3-4 hours outside on it. We did have a fall yesterday but she recovered. Bruce loves the circle swing and the slide! Savannah is all over the place on it! The way my kids play and laugh you would never know that it is 100+ degrees outside!
Thanks again Pa and Ma...we love it and we love you!
Savannah's Party!
Savannah's birthday is September 10th and she wanted a party at the Jumping House. So we decided we would do it Friday the 26th because Ma and Pa would be in town. I love birthday's and I love to do them big! We even have something special for our sweet girl on her actual birthday this year.
Savannah loves the movie Tangled and when we asked her what kind of party she said Tangled at the Jumpy House. So that is what we did! She had a blast as well as all of her friends!
I love to decorate but this year I decided that there wasn't a lot in our budget luckily we have great parents. Without the help of Papa, Nana, Pa, and Ma this party wouldn't have been possible. So again Thank you!
Savannah's Tangled cake...it was so good and very cheap!

Savannah is so blessed to have so many friends at 3 years old. Here is the best group shot we could get...some friends from church, school, and neighbors!
We were able to get all the kids to the table for a quick piece of pizza and some cake and they were off again.
The birthday girl before we sang!
All the kids at the table
Savannah and Emily...two peas in a pod. These girls have known each other since they were in their Mommies tummies. I love this picture!
Daddy and Mommy. Daddy being goofy as always!
The kids had a great time on all the bouncers.! Here is the big slide...they had no fear!
Here she comes!
Other than the slide the kids spent a lot of time in the foam pit! Aunt Amy and some Dads even got in on the action!
One week down!
Well, as many of you know Andy and I are both middle school teachers. We actually teach at rival schools and enjoy the rivalry when it comes to game time.
Here we are on the first day! The first week is very crazy around the Harvey household. I am a teacher as well as a coach which means that the 2nd day of school I start tryouts for volleyball. I leave the house at 6:10 am and return around 6:30 pm every day. This year our schools also moved from a block schedule (where we see our kids for 1.5 hours everyother day) to a 7 period a day schedule (we see our kids for about 45 min every day). To say that Andy and I are tired is an understatement.
The past two years we have had the privelege to have my Mother-in-love come and stay the first week of school with us. This allows the kids to stay home and enjoy Ma but also Mommy and Daddy don't have to fight with daycare and what not. The kids daycare is actually at an elementary school so the first couple days it is a huge mess with parents dropping their kids off for the first time.
I am so thankful for a Mother-in-love that wants to come and stay with us and help us out in that way. Every day when I came home dinner was ready and the kids were excited to see me. She did our laundry, washed bottles, made our beds, and watched the kids. She is Super MA! To top it off she got up with the cutest boy at night so that Mommy and Daddy could get some sleep.
Poor Bruce is having some skin problems so we were trying to get him to stop scratching.
It was a great week and although Ma is very tired she agreed to come next year and help out as well :) We love you Ma and already miss you!

Wordless Wednesday!
Sorry this week is crazy and I have been a horrible blogger. It is the first week of school and we are so grateful that Momma Harvey is in town to help with the kids. I am sure she is going to be exhausted by the end of this week but we are so thankful!!!
Hanging out in Mommy and Daddy's bed with Ma eating ice cream!
I love this picture because she picked up the stick and held it like a baseball bat! She is my little lefty and I love it!

First day of school
First Day of school came early this morning! We woke up at 5:15 and had the kids up before 6:00. Let's just say that Savannah wasn't to thrilled about it. In fact she cut her elbow so we had blood and then we had a full on melt down about not wanting to go to school. Bruce was smiles as always and after getting everyone dressed and ready we were out the door.
I love to take pictures from their first day and the last day because they really do change so much!
Savannah loves her brother!
After the melt down she was so ready! The whole drive she was telling me about her friends that she got to see and then was telling Bruce about how much fun he will have!
Savannah and Bruce did great at drop off. Mommy did as well as I could expect but I think it was Daddy that had a little bit harder time dropping off Bruce! When we left Savannah was playing with her friends and Bruce was smiling at his teachers!
It is going to be a great year!

B and A: Our Living Room
Our Living Room and Dining Room have needed some help for a while. When we moved in we knew that there was a dog and cat that had lived in the house before. We also knew that we wanted to eventually change it to laminate flooring. Well thanks to my Dad and Mom...and I do MEAN A BIG THANK YOU!! We were able to make our Dining and Living room look great!
Before: We had already moved out the furniture but as you can see they carpet had a lot of stains on it.
After: look how beautiful!!
We also received new couches from my parents! Isn't it beautiful!
Thank you again Mom and Dad! We love you and the house looks amazing!
