Wordless Wednesday (a couple of days early!)
Trip to Bridge City!
Andy flew to Odessa to help his Mom and Papaw drive back to Bridge City. The kids and I met them there and had a quick but great visit! The house is really coming together and I can't wait to see what it looks like in a couple of weeks.
While trying to make lunch we could not find a good can opener so leave it to the Harvey men they will figure it out!...Yes, they are opening a rotel can here! :)

Of course Bruce and Savannah had to get some time in with Papaw!
We were trying to help Dad Harvey get the dressers into Papaw's room...Bruce decided the drawers where a perfect place for him to hang out!
And as you know...it isn't a trip to Pa and Ma's without some swinging!
Our new adventure this trip was riding the lawn mower :)
We had a great time and Savannah is already talking about the next time she gets to go back!

Wednesday's adventures
Andy had training today at Pflugerville so we decided an adventure this morning would be good and then me and the kids could come home to get laundry done and take long naps before swimming lessons. Our plan was to go to Round Rock donuts but Savannah decided she didn't want orange donuts so Shipley's sounded like the next best place.
Savannah ordered a sprinkles donut and we got Bruce donut holes.
After breakfast we headed to the Brushy Creek Splash pad...
As you can see they had a great time!
We are now home working on laundry and getting lunch ready before naps!
Tuesday's adventures!
Tuesday our adventure was the Library, HEB, and cook at home. More low key than Monday but Savannah was still excited and she wasn't going to be in the car for an extended period of time! We got up are were at the library by 9:45 for a special story time. Bruce and Savannah loved it and we even got to hang out with Miss Jenn, Isaiah, and TJ.
Bruce was very excited there was music and tried to get up on stage :) He was clapping and dancing the whole time!
After story time we decided it was time to get a library card and start Savannah on learning to read...she loves books so this was perfect! We checked out 5 books and 3 DVD's!
After the library and lunch we went to HEB to pick out all our ingredients for dinner and dessert! Once we got home Bruce was being a ham!
Savannah and I pulled all of our ingredients out and started making dinner...we made one stop chicken off of pintrest!
Savannah was very excited about the finished product and it tasted great! I can't wait to make it again soon!
After putting the chicken in the oven it was time to start on the Tie-dye cake. Savannah loved helping but she wanted to taste a lot too.
After mixing all the batter we added the food coloring to the bowls and put them in the cake pans

It tasted great and Savannah is now talking about our next food she wants to make...Thanks to Aunt Samantha and Addisyn she has caught the bug of looking at pintrest and deciding what is next :)

Adventure Week Day 1!
I have been promising Savannah a week of Adventures since the beginning of the summer...She loves Dora and we were going to make maps and everything. So last night I asked her if she wanted that to be this week and she was super excited! I also thought why not cross off a couple of my 30 before 30 while I am at it.
So Monday our adventure was Cabela's and Buc-ee's!
We had a great time in Cabela's...it was really neat to look around!
Bruce loved the Aquarium!
They had all these stuffed animals...Savannah didn't understand why they didn't move :)

After we looked at all the animals we decided to try some of the equipment...

While we were waiting for Daddy to look at the gun section I looked down to the basket and saw this! Sweet Savannah loving on her brother!
After a quick stop in San Marcos for lunch we headed to Buc-ee's!

Not sure what adventure we have in store for tomorrow but once I figure out you guys will know. Happy Monday!
A Day at the Zoo!
Andy had to take a test in Dallas on Saturday for counseling so we decided why not make a trip out of it and go up with him and see Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn. They were already planning on heading to the zoo on Friday so we met them there! We had a great time although it was so freaking hot!
We took pictures of all of us before we really started sweating!
Bruce loved the Penguins and the stroller didn't contain him very much :)

We were so excited to feed the giraffe's...Samantha helped the girls even though Savannah didn't want to actually feed them!
In the Lion's restaurant the lion's were enjoying the shade right next to the window...it was awesome!
Bruce looks a little concerned here but I still thought it was pretty funny!
Of course no trip is complete with out Andy being funny...Savannah just stared at him :)
This was actually Ryan's idea...Evolution...although maybe Andy and Ryan should have switched!
Then of course my husband had to do something with this statue!
The girls were able to feed the birds with Samantha's help of course!
They also rode a camel!
Like always we had a great time with Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn. Can't wait to see them again this weekend!
