Sweet Amelia!

Saturday, I had the honor to help host Joy's baby shower for sweet Amelia!  Joy and I have known each other for about 4 years and have been in the same communitry group for about 2.  A little over a year ago I was really in need of an accountability partner and I began to pray for God to reveal one.  Not to long after Joy and I became accountability partners!  She is one of the most wonderful people I know and I am honored to have her as my accountability partner and friend!
We have counted the weeks of Ameila's pregnancy and celebrated many milestones together!  She has a sceduled c-section on October 26th and I can't wait to meet the precious baby we have prayed for and celebrated over for the past year!
We decided to do simple and no games.
But of course I love to decorate and I was so excited with how everything turned out!
Instead of games we had 3 different stations of crafts.  We had a bow making station, a onesie making station, and a prayers for Amelia station!
Here are some of the bows that were made.  I wish I had gotten a picture of the onesies people made...SO CUTE!

This is a picture of all the Crossroads ladies!
And here are the hostess'...these women are in my community group and I truly don't know what I would do without them!  They are my best friends and I love them dearly!
Joy - I am so excited for you and can hardly wait until the end of the month! I can't believe this time next month she will be here!  Praying for her to stay put for a couple more weeks and for you as the end is near!  love you and thank you for everything you have done for me!

Homecoming 2012

I love working for a district that has a lot of traditions!  One of the things they do is Homecoming parade and then the game!  Last night we were able to join the baseball team again in watching the parade and handing out candy!
Trying to get a picture of the kids before we go outside...Bruce of course is trying to get away!
When he finally did he thought he was so funny :)
Savannah looks so big in her mum from Papa!
Hanging out in one of the baseball boys truck!
Savannah finally got out but Bruce wanted to stay put!
Savannah and Papa handing out candy to all the people

Of course we had to get one with Papa in the golf cart!

And finally what a difference a year makes!

So proud of my Hubby!

For those of you that don't know, Andy has been working the past 2 years on his masters degree in School Counseling!  We wanted to show him how proud we are of him by celebrating with a few of his favorite things!
Again, I am kicking myself for not having more pictures but I guess we were just to busy having fun!  We set up a table with some of his favorite things. We also had all of his favorite foods which none were healthy!
After everyone ate and mingled I asked a couple of people to give some speeches.  Andy had no idea and was very honored to hear some of the speeches!
Amy and Rob did a great job and of course had us laughing!  Amy was in her element!
Jason shared about how much he admires Andy for his hard work as well as told some stories and of course chowed off their Besties with Testies T-shirt
Leo shared how we all met and then told the story of Andy and his bellbottoms!
 The man of the hour!
And again the only group picture I took Andy with his Dad and his Dad's cousin Gary!
Andy we are so proud of you and all you have done!  I hope you know how much I love you and proud of you I am.  You are my rock and Thank you for going to school to better our family as well as the lives of all the children you work with!
