Poor Baby!

Poor Savannah she got her dad's genes when it comes to illness. Every time Andy gets sick he will develop bronchitis...it is inevitable and the cough can be horrible. Most of the time he is better in a couple of days with some strong medicine or a shot of whiskey.
Well, Savannah had a cold about two weeks ago and she has been coughing ever since. This weekend it got so bad that she was waking herself up at night because she was coughing. So I took her to the doctor on Monday and what does she have...bronchitis. The doctor told me this is probably something she will struggle with during the fall and winter months. She told me that breathing treatments every 4-6 hours seem to do the trick and she should be good in a couple of days...
So we got a nebulizer and started treatments. It has already worked wonders and my little pumpkin is sleeping through the night again and getting mad when I wake her in the morning. Here is a picture of her with the breathing treatment on. We have found that if we put on music or a music DVD she does just fine with the mask. By the way just for the mommies that have little ones in daycare with Savannah or were in nursery on Sunday...it is not contagious and she is not running a fever!
