Weekly Date
Every Wednesday while Daddy and his band are practicing we get to go out with Papa and Nana for dinner. Since, baseball is starting soon and Papa has had lots of meetings we had to change our nights the past couple of weeks to Tuesday...which meant Daddy got to come too!
Wild Woman!
Some Harvey Lovin'
Like I said before...this weekend we got a special visit from Andy's parents! To say Savannah loves them is an understatement! They are amazing grandparents and the best in-laws! We love you both and thanks again for coming and helping us this weekend!
Amy and Rob came over both nights to hang out with the fam as well! I have always felt like altough I am not Randi and Amy's blood sister that they think of me as one! It is so great to have Amy so close and I am crossing my fingers that Randi may be coming back to Texas soon...with Daryl of course!
That's my girl!
Sick Again
Last week was another sick week in the Harvey household. Poor miss Savannah developed two ear infections and had a horrible cough! I stayed home with her on Tuesday and Andy on Wednesday and Thursday. We got a surprise visit from Pa and Ma on Thursday night to help us out on Friday and to let us get some rest! We are so thankful to both sets of parents for helping us out when Savannah is sick.
Here are two pictures of Savannah sick and not feeling well. Notice Daddy was so tired that he fell asleep with her!

Another sick week
Three horrible thing in our week:
ALLERGIES
TWO EAR INFECTIONS
COUGH
It may be bad but we still get some good
-Baby Samuel Hill Peterson being born
-a break from the cold (we can't really enjoy it due to the above but it is still pretty)
-Daddy and Savannah time (he has stayed home for two days)
-Weekend time with Pa and Ma because they know we need a little bit of a break and some help
-Sunday night with Papa and Nana
Remember there is always good in the bad!

Andy's new blog
Hey guys! Check out Andy's new blog. In an effort to help people understand worship better and to understand the songs he picks for Sunday, he has started a blog. I must say he is a much better writer than I am! Love you Babe!

Relaxing at home
We have had a very uneventful weekend which we love! Since the weather is extremely cold (not just Texas cold) we have stayed inside and enjoyed each other. Savannah has become the little dare devil. She will climb up on anything and loves to climb into boxes. Although she isn't always the most graceful about getting out of boxes and thus resulting in some small bruises.
She amazes us everyday with her vocabulary! She now knows the word Elmo (Mo-Mo) and also Dog and Cat. We are loving life and our toddler!

House divided (well sort of)
As many of you know tomorrow is the National Championship for college football. As many of you also know I love sports and well Andy likes them to an extent!
This game is a big one for us being that we live in Austin, Tx and well I have always been a Longhorn fan. Plus, I know boys on the team. And the fact that Andy's parents live in Alabama and their money went to Alabama as my sister in law Amy and brother in law Rob went to the University of Alabama.
So who do we root for...well I am of course rooting for the Longhorns because well...they were my team first and I love Texas Football but a little piece of me is rooting for Alabama as well. However, I want TEXAS TO WIN!!! But Alabama wouldn't bad either. So here's to a great game or friendly family rivalry!
HOOK EM!
A New Year
I know I am a little late in this but better Late than never. So here goes! I have never been one to write New Year Resolutions...lets be honest I wouls say I wanted to lose weight and then be disappointed in the end. So this year Andy and I decided we would just make some goals that we wanted to accomplish with ourselves and with Savannah. Here is our (mine) list:
Daddy and Mommy:
- Pay off Mommy's car and 2 credit cards
- Re-do our yard and bathroom as cheap as possible but still looks good
- Enjoy a date night at least every 6-8 weeks
- Go somewhere this summer just the three of us
- Eat healthier and be try to cook more meals at home
- Learn to say No! We have an extremely busy schedule
Savannah
- Stop using the Pacifier
- More words that we can understand
- work on obedience with Mommy and Daddy working on how to dicipline and when
- Love on Daddy and Mommy as much as possible
So there you go! I am proud to say that on Saturday, Andy threw out all of Savannah's pacifiers. If they aren't here we won't use them. It hasn't been easy specially when she is tired and a little cranky but she is slowly understanding they are gone. A HUGE POSITIVE to no pacifier is words. Savannah has never been one to really say a lot of words...she says MaMa, Dada. Uh-Oh, the occasional hi or bye but that is about it. Well, in two weeks (really about 5 days) she says Cat, Go, Mo (Elmo), Pa and Ma, Papa and Nana. We have been amazed!

Mobile Fun!
On Sunday after church we headed to Alabama! I don't know if I have told you or not but I love my in-laws! I feel incredibly blessed to have them and Savannah is so luck to have them as grandparents, aunts, and uncles! We had a blast in Alabama and although we didn't get to stay as long as we had liked we enjoyed every moment.
My in laws have a beautiful backyard with lots of room for Savannah to run...they also have a huge tree in the front yard that has a swing just for Savannah. Some of the highlights of our trip were:
- spending time with family
- eating way to may sweets
- swinging (or watching) outside
- chasing the cats!
- Pensacola with Aunt Randi and Uncle Daryl
- running around outside
- backyard therapy
- karoke
Those are just a few! Enjoy the pictures below...sorry there is a lot but hey we took a lot more!
