Memorial Day 2011

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. It was so busy and I think all of us could use a day of rest but we had a great time!

Friday night started with my cousin Jake graduating from High School. We had a party before the graduation and it was great to sit around and talk with family. We introduced everyone to Bruce and Samantha. Everyone had a great time and seemed to really enjoy meeting the two new additions to the Kinnan/Harvey family.

After the party Savannah had her first sleep over with her cousin Addisyn. It took a while for them to finally fall asleep but they had a great time!


Saturday brought Sea World! Bruce stayed with my Mom and Dad and Ryan, Samantha, Andy, the girls, and I headed to San Antonio! It was very hot and crowded but we all had a good time!

On Sunday we all went to church and lunch at Plucker's

After Plucker's we all went home and took naps. That night Ryan, Samantha, Andy, and I went and saw Hangover 2 while the kids spent time swimming and hanging out with Nana and Papa.

On Monday we had family pictures. The wind was not our friend but I think we got a couple good ones.

After the park we went to the Arboretum and played in the water and on the cows then ate at Cheesecake Factory

We had a great weekend and can't wait to see Ryan, Samantha, and Addisyn again!

This is the last week of school, Aunt Jenny, Randi, and Andy's birthday, and Pa and Ma visiting! So excited for the summer!

Hope you had a great weekend and remember that we are able to celebrate because of the soldiers that put their lives on hold and fight for our freedom every day!

Weekend!

I can't believe that Bruce is two weeks old! He has molded into our life perfectly and I can't imagine our lives without him now! Savannah is doing great with him and other than a couple melt downs she wants to help with everything!

This weekend we went to Papa's baseball games. It was a hard weekend because his team did lose but they had a great season and I am going to miss the Seniors. But I look forward to next year because not only will they be really good but those Seniors were my 7th graders my first year of teaching!


On Friday night Andy and I decided to just have a night at home with the kids! We skyped Pa and Ma and then gave both kids baths. We were finally able to give Bruce a bath because his cord fell off. Savannah was a big help although everything got wet, Bruce was not the biggest fan but Savannah kept patting his head and telling him it was ok!

On Sunday we went to church and then I decided to take some pictures of the kids together! There are more to come but here are a couple for now!



This weekend brings the last one before school is out, Jake (my cousin) graduation, Uncle Ryan, Addisyn, and Samantha. And maybe Sea World :)

Weekend Wrap-up!

This weekend was great! I was so looking forward to our first weekend at home with just the 4 of us!
It all started out with this little guy...Savannah loves to help get him dressed but Saturday morning she wanted him to stay in his diaper and watch Beauty and the Beast. As you can see he was very interested! :)

Once we finally got up and moving we decided to take Savannah to the park and enjoy the beautiful day! We all had a great time outside and then went to Target to get a couple of things :)

After we went to the park and Target we came home and took naps. This was after we woke up. Savannah loves to sit next to Bruce and kiss his head!

One of the things Savannah loves to do is read. She has started to read to Baby Bruce and will tell all of us to be quiet!

Sunday morning was a lot different trying to get 2 kids ready and out the door but we made it to church in plenty of time.

She wanted to take some pictures with her baby Bruce before church...even though he was crying!


Lately, Savannah has been a little scared at night. We aren't sure if it is her wanting attention or if something actually scared her. So Daddy came up with a plan and her stuffed animals. He lines her bed with them and they protect her at night.


We had a great weekend and are loving being a family of 4!
